Presented by: Mike Schneider, Baker Concrete Construction and current President of ACI.
Designed with advanced energy-conservation technology, the Patricia and Phillip Frost Museum of Science in Miami, Florida, presented many challenges to the concrete construction process. The precise science, engineering and art of concrete was a critical and interesting part of the building process. What makes this project so special? The museum has four separate buildings and each is a different shape, each level a different size, shape and height. Baker Concrete Construction is responsible for making it all happen! Come hear Mike discuss the challenges and the champions on this project!
