 Causes, Costs, and Solutions

The purpose of this program is to give owners, contractors, consultants, and managers an insight on how the deterioration of their structures develops, its various stages, its costs and available tools of control, and how to mitigate and eliminate the deterioration and its causes using the following skills:
- Identify causes of structural deterioration
- Identify the presence and signs of ongoing deterioration
- Understand the costs of a deteriorating infrastructure
- Understand the stages of intervention and their economic repercussions
- Gain knowledge of the most effective available repair techniques for each deterioration issue
About Our speaker:

Carla A. Ramo, PE is Business Development Manager for Tendon Systems, LLC.  A registered PE in Florida, Carla obtained her BSCE at the University of Puerto Rico and her MBA at NOVA Southeastern University.  Ms. Ramo has 16 years experience in post-tensioning structural repair and strengthening.  She specializes in concrete repair, FRP strengthening, and post-tensioning repairs.  She is dedicated to developing preventive maintenance programs and quality repairs to achieve a significant extension of clients' assets service life and performance.
