Post-Tensioned concrete provides benefits in terms of economics, serviceability, and long term durability and popularity of this construction method continues to expand.  This presentation provides tips and rules targeted to engineers and contractors that have been shown to contribute to successful projects.  Examples from construction projects are used to highlight do's and don'ts for post-tensioning.

About Our Speaker: 

Donald Kline, P.E. is Founder and Principal at Kline Engineering & Consulting, LLC in Manassas, VA.  He brings 25 years experience in the design, construction, and repair of post-tensioned concrete structures.  He is past President of the National Capital Chapter ACI and is a member of several ACI technical committees including 318 Subcommittee G - Prestressed Concrete, ACI 423 Prestressed Concrete, and ACI 301 Subcommittee I Post-Tensioned Concrete.  Mr. Kline is also an active member of the Post-Tensioning Institute where he serves as director and chair of TAB.
