OSHA 29 CFR 1926.1153 went into effect in June 2016 and will require full compliance in 2017. With this change, there are new standards with which industry professionals will be required to comply. Simplifying a complex government-issued standard is no easy task. To assist us in the process, industry regulators and other industry experts met last year to discuss the changes. Participants of the workshop produced a white paper on the topic. The purpose of this document is to summarize the key points contained in the extensive standard released by OSHA. The presentation will be a review of the white paper and help educate all attendees on these new standards as well as provide an overview of the different solutions and how they fit into the new OSHA code. We will also have a representative from the Enforcement side of this new standard to discuss what you can expect and how to be compliant. The Hilti team will also be on site showcasing Table 1 compliant products and solutions before and after the presentation.
