Self Consolidated Concrete
Engineering the impossible, concrete in the 21st century, will be focusing on construction challenges, from day-to-day applications to mega-tall and mega-slender structures, encompassing challenges such as, heat of hydration, high replacement ratios of cement, high modulus of elasticity demands, high-strength-, high-performance concrete solutions, pumpable concrete to unprecedented heights, architectural surface demands, workability control at altering temperatures and operational conditions, self-compacting- , self- leveling concrete solutions and pumpable high strength lightweight concrete as well as solutions to meet challenging construction schedules.

Andreas Tselebidis is Director of Concrete Solutions and Commercial Development located in New York City. In his role, Andreas is responsible for the initiation, evaluation and implementation of concrete solutions and technologies that address wide-spread concrete performance issues in Superstructures as well as Day-to- Day applications. Tselebidis has authored more than 50 technical papers in various concrete industry journals and holds 9 patents. He has been integral with implementation of concrete solutions on signature projects such as, 432 Park Avenue, One World Trade Center, Hudson Yards, 56 Leonard, MoMa Tower, Chase Manhattan and many more around the world.
Tselebidis career encompasses 24 years with Master Builders Construction Chemicals, two years with the largest concrete producer of the US – SRM Concrete as their Chief Engineering, Research & Development Officer and most recently with SIKA Corporation as the Director of Concrete Solutions and Commercial Development.
